Terrapin Masters Swim Club
Terrapin Masters Coaches

Terrapin Masters has a long, rich pipeline of coaches coming primarily from the University of Maryland Swimming & Diving program, and our current staff is no exception. Our coaches are teaching us some of the same cutting edge technique and concepts they've learned during their careers in the water, and create workouts that challenge and inspire stroke by stroke!

Ginny Glover - Head Coach

Ginny comes to us from the UMD Varsity Swim & Dive teams. She is one of the team's Captains for the 2011-12 season, which will be her final year as a member of the team. She is primarily a sprint freestyler and backstroker and has qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials in backstroke. Ginny brings a ton of YMCA, USA-S and NCAA Swimming experience and expertise on deck and we look forward to all she has to offer!

Ginny is our coach on-deck for all pool and dryland workouts. Her workouts vary in their focus (sprints, free, stroke, IM, kick, etc.) from day to day and are tailored to the needs of the swimmers in each lane. Most workouts are interval- (time) based and will vary in length from 3000-4500 yards/meters depending on your lane's intervals.
