We encourage visitors and first-timers to join us!

First 3 workouts are FREE!

If you wish to try us out or are visiting and wish attend a practice as a drop-in, please email us so we know you're coming! Contact Cheryl Wagner via email or phone (202-387-2361). She will arrange for you to receive a complimentary pass good for 3 workouts.

Due to Campus Recreation Services (CRS) regulations, you will also have to fill out a waiver form at the CRS Member Services Desk (at the main entrance) for their records. The waiver is available for download here if you wish to fill out in advance.

Beyond 3 workouts

After three trials, you will need to purchase a Terrapin Masters rechargeable "Swipe Card" from CRS. For more information on how to purchase a swipe card, please refer to the Dues Page.

Also, if you are not already a USMS member, you have 30 days from your first swim to register with USMS. Please refer to our Registration Page for more information about joining USMS as Terrapin Masters swimmer, or visit the USMS Registration site.
